   Hi! I'm looking for about 1 meter range RFID transponder with receiver, whiling to make keyless start for my car. From what I found before, I need active RFID, cause passive one has a short read\write distance. Can someone advice me which one or where to buy active transponder chip with receiver? Also chip must be quite compact due to fit in key fob. Thanks

	I agree, an active tag approach is what you need. Check out the the Ananiah products I reviewed on my blog; http://blog.amal.net/?s=ananiah - they might not be a 100% perfect fit, but they would be a good place to start prototyping from.

	If you're looking for a commercial solution, just buy a commercial alarm with remote start for your car.

	I already have remote start in my car, but I'm building something like smart keyless start. In other words i need relay engagement when I will enter the car with RFID in my pocket. 1 meter or even 50cm will be enough for me!
