Not to start an Apple/Microsoft flame war, but in general Apple products are not known for their openness. Microsoft was kind enough to build an entire Credential Provider platform and supply <a href="http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/en/details.aspx?FamilyID=1287ec56-77b4-48c4-8b58-35b7295d6c2c&amp;displaylang=en" target="_blank">example code</a>. Apple? No way. All I get when I look for customizing the OS X logon system is software products and "hacks" to let you put a fancy image on the logon screen.<br><br><br>]]>
