I already have remote start in my car, but I'm building something like smart keyless start. I agree, an active tag approach is what you need. Hi! I'm looking for about 1 meter range RFID transponder with receiver, whiling to make keyless start for my car. From what I found before, I need active RFID, cause passive one has a short read\write distance. Can someone advice me which one or where to buy active transponder chip with receiver? Also chip must be quite compact due to fit in key fob. Thanks
