Check out the the Ananiah products I reviewed on my blog; http://blog.amal.net/?s=ananiah - they might not be a 100% perfect fit, but they would be a good place to start prototyping from.

I'm looking for about 1 meter range RFID transponder with receiver, whiling to make keyless start for my car. From what I found before, I need active RFID, cause passive one has a short read\write distance. Can someone advice me which one or where to buy active transponder chip with receiver? Also chip must be quite compact due to fit in key fob. Thanks
